Death Valley Escape

Just above Zabriskie Point, two cyclists escape the valley. Highly compressed by a telephoto lens and further modified by pulling out the blue haze while converting to B&W, the mountains in the back look very close. The bikes are 1/4 mile away while the low bright hills are a mile off. The far mountains are over 10 miles away. Thats the danger of Death Valley, with nothing but rocks the sense of distance is destroyed.
