First Light

First attempt at Infra red work with the M8. The M8 “suffers” from letting too much IR through its “blocking filter”. This is fine for me. Still waiting for an adapter ring to mount the filter. Filter hand held on the front of the lens with the camera hand held at 1/30th. The image is roughly 1/4 of the full frame. The tall buildings in the back ground are down town los angeles a full 20 miles away.
