On The Chin

No so much on the chin as just below it. Chin Ridge that is. Chin Ridge was the site of the last full skirmish of the First Bull Run. The battle that began the US Civil War in July 1861. There were two battles at Bull Run and much different points in the war. Bull Run is a small stream but big enough to be impossible to haul cannons across. Hence it formed a natural defensive boundary. If the Battle of Bull Run seems unfamiliar, you may know it as the First Manassas. Confederate historians name battles after local water features. The Union named the same battle after nearby towns.
