Southern California Council of Camera Clubs Southern California Council of Camera Clubs The Southern California Council of Camera Clubs (S4C), a nonprofit organization under the laws of the State of California, was founded in July 1939 with the purpose of developing and promoting cooperative solutions of organization, administration, growth, and support of the photographic art and education at a council level.
The Photographic Society of America The Photographic Society of America The Society is a worldwide, interactive organization for serious amateur photographers, professional photographers (or for anyone interested in photography), with a monthly magazine, photo competitions, study groups via mail and on the Internet, and an annual conference in different locales that is held around Labor Day each year.

North American Nature Photography Association North American Nature Photography Association NANPA, the North American Nature Photography Association, is the first and only association in North America committed solely to serving the field of nature photography. Its stated mission is to provide education, foster professional and ethical conduct, gather and disseminate information, and develop standards for all persons interested in the field of nature photography. NANPA further seeks to promote nature photography as an art form and a medium of communication for the sciences, nature appreciation, and environmental protection.
Wedding and Portrait Photographers International Wedding and Portrait Photographers International WPPI is the premier organization for wedding and portrait photographers, committed to helping its members to elevate the art, technique, and business of professional photography.
American Society of Media Photographers American Society of Media Photographers ASMP is the premier resource for community, culture, commerce and publications relating to publication photography. ASMP is the authoritative voice of publication photographers worldwide.
Museum of Photographic Art Museum of Photographic Art Since its founding in 1983, the Museum of Photographic Arts (MoPA) has been devoted to collecting, conserving and exhibiting the entire spectrum of the photographic medium. The museum’s endeavors consistently address cultural, historical and social issues through its exhibitions and public programs (all of which are described in detail throughout this site). MoPA is accredited by the American Association of Museums and is a member-supported, private, nonprofit institution. Additional support for museum programs is provided by the City of San Diego under a program managed by its Commission for Arts and Culture, the Community Enhancement Program of the County of San Diego, as well as the California Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts.
National Press Photographers Association National Press Photographers Association The National Press Photographers Association is dedicated to the advancement of photojournalism, its creation, editing and distribution, in all news media.
Professional Photographers of Los Angeles County Professional Photographers of Los Angeles County The online home of the Professional Photographers of Los Angeles County. Our organization exists to promote camaraderie and to further the education of professional photographers. PPLAC is a local affiliate of PPC (California) and PPA (National).
