Lighthouse Fresnel Lens – 1st Order (BIG)
This lens is from the Point Arena Lighthouse near San Francisco. The lighthouse(115 feet tall) was destroyed in the 1906 earthquake and rebuilt in 1908. The lens was restored and used until the lighthouse was de-comissioned. It was then put in the only outbuilding to survive the earthquake. This is now the visitor’s center and museum.
